Hi, Big Sis:

How great it is that you want to be a part of your little sisters' lives. Even though you are miles away, there is much that you can do that will bridge the gap. I know how you are feeling, because my sister, mother, brother and their families all live miles away from me.

First of all, let me encourage you to pray for your little sisters. You can even journal your prayers for them, and keep them in a notebook. One day when they are older, you can give it to them as a gift. What a great gift....knowing their big sister prays for them!

For right now, I suggest that you put together a small, simple photo album. My two year old loves looking at books, and especially family pictures. We call each one by name and we pray for them at night. When you talk on the phone, you can ask your dad to show the picture of you, so this will help your little sisters "see" you, when they hear your voice. The little things you do will make a big difference! (Phil. 1:3, "I thank my God every time I remember you.")
